Awesome writing, Dave! Thanks for your research and eloquent explanation - illuminating work!

We put more trust in algorithms than humans. Trust in the government, media, business and institutions is at an all-time low. We don’t trust bankers or politicians yet share taxi rides with strangers.

Rachel Botsman's excellent "Who Can You Trust?" explains this dichotomy beautifully, recommend picking it up. The Orwellian nature of the Chinese system of citizen scores get an entire chapter dedicated to it!

I'd appreciate if you can take the time to read and feedback my short analysis of this book as I think it makes a good companion article to your wonderful writing!
