Excellent article Jim - you introduce and expand on the need of acknowledging and accepting the various mechanisms of group dynamics within human societies and business. Really zesty, passionate, succinct writing.

I've written an article titled "You Don't Know What You Don't Know" based on learnings from Matthew Syed's "Rebel Ideas" which focuses on the question of WHY diversity is important, in a business and personal context as opposed to your take of HOW to ensure efficient group dynamics. Diversity is viewed as a politically correct, moral and social cause that comes at the cost of performance. This is a false equivalence. It is the fundamental fabric of our existence, innovation, business, motivation and politics and overcoming perspective blindness is imperative.
